Printer wont print with new pc

Installed disk of z707 printer in new compaq pc and when i tell it to print it wont print there is order in the pc that it is printing but nothing happens

Kidd, you need to go to this site: http://support.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/selections.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:0:0:0&target=http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/downloads.cgi&&req=::::: The operating system has changed since either XP sp2 and its plethera of security updates and hot fixes or even that you are using Vista. The printer needs newer drivers downloaded and installed. Make sure all instances of the existing printer are deleted/or are uninstalled. Good Luck Tim fyi I had found this while searching. this could be a very complex problem if you hooked your printer up to your pc prior to running the driver instalation disk. most printers requie you hook them up when qued by the install. the best advice i can give would be to uninstall the printer remove the printer connewction from the usb and insure it is removed from the device manager located in the properties section of you computer.

Printer wont print

Try remove all cartridges then put back it one by one.Make sure the color cartridges are not empty too.The printer need all cartridges not empty to initialized and working.

hmm error on blue page saying windows setup can not complete? ok this sounds like your disk is dirty or scratched. check the disk to insure that its not dirty or scratched. even the smallest finger print can interrupt the installation try cleaning the disk.

With the printer being as old as it is, you most likely won't be able to get replacement parts for it. I did some checking around, and can't find anything as far as parts.

Driver for this printer has to be downloaded from www.epson.com. Try downloading xp compatible drivers fron website..install downloaded driver..try printing...this should fix the issue

Compaq IJ650 ink jet printer will not print color.

Just because it’s new does not mean New Old Stock. Your print head is plugged. No if or buts about it. Contact HP and tell them you situation. If they don’t help you, box it up and take it back. Buy an Epson.

You may have the printer settings set to pause accidentally or set to work offline. Go to printer icon, right click and scroll down to check all your settings, if any of above apply, untick them. Try again. The error message is telling you it cannot communicate with the pc. Have you updated anything on your pc, sometimes new systems settings, particulary windows updates and service packs can cause drivers to become incompatable. If all else fails, you could try getting updated drivers from the Compaq website.

Onmly Compaq will have the approprive driver download. You are correct to assume a Vista compatability issue- this is becoming more evirdent with many peripherals. By the bye- the printer is of course a rebadged Lexmark or HP or Brother [ can be either] see if you can see which and check the appropriate web site.
