Did you install Kodak Picture Easy Software already?
To transfer pictures from your camera to the computer, you need this software (and the driver that comes with it)
If you done't have the software, try to get it with Kodak, or use an external memory card reader, to transfer the pictures from the memory card to the computer. That must work.
Try taking a #2 pencil and use the eraser on the contacts inside the camera to clean them off. Dont use anything to rough. If this doesn't work try taking it to a local camera shop to get them to send it off for repair.
using the memory card is often better than the software and/or USB cable. the memory card is a more moern way of getting pics from your digital camera to your pc or laptop.
