RESET ADMIN PASSWORD CS-1820

Requires a service tech to come out, because having access to admin mean changing accounts ETC. don't know if that is what your trying to do so have tech come out.

You have to get the password of it and go to admin page to change settings If you don't have pass you can reset your router to the company default by pressing "reset" button then go to admin page of this router (if it is Linksys Router, the default is 192.168.1.1) to change its settings.

default is admin. If there is a password in there already power up and on the back you will find a reset(small paper clip hole) Then user admin - password admin.

You will need to get the crrect password to get in to the web enabled setup. If you don't have the password any more you will have to reset it back to factory default. This is done by pressing the reset button at the back covered with a red plastic tab. Move the tab out of the way and press (with a pen) and hold the reset button in for +/- 20 secconds. You will now be able to login with user=admin and password=admin.

yes you can !
turn OFF the copier and unplug the power cord and the network cables!! Take off the scanner board - there is a jumper to reset the scanning system to default factory settings. Install the scanning system and power the copier. Wait till is Ready to Copy + 2 minutes. turn OFF and unplug the power cable, restore the jumper on the scanning system board. Put it back and power up.

The factory default password should be 4000. If thast doesn't work you will have to reset or display the admin password in service mode.

To enter service mode hit the ststus button and then type 10871087. Scroll through the menu with the * and # keys. If you make changes in service mode and do not know what you are doing you can cause the copier to permanently fail.

The master user name is 1118 and password 1118 also. this should give you access to the menus and allow you to do whatever changes you feel like.

The admin user name and blank password, is a default setting of the dlink, perhaps somebody would have changed the default setting on it, Hence Please press the reset button and reset the device to factory defaults, you may need to press the reset button for 30 secs and once the reset is done, Unplug the power for 120 secs and then turn it back on. And now you can try the same, I strongly feel that it should work now, Furthermore the settings saved on the router would be set to factory defaults hence, you may need to configure the router/Modem for internet connectivity.
