SOURCE: Problem with Network driver (Dell Inspiron 1525)

I might be a bit late on this but I had the exact same problem just a couple of days ago. What I did was download the drivers needed fromhere (download the two drivers in the Network section). I downloaded these from a different computer then you have to copy and save them to a flash drive and transfer them to your computer and install from there. Your wireless should work after doing this.

I wanted to download drivers for acer aspire 3000 but I couldn't. The notebook is not connected to the internet thus I need to do isolate download and update the notebook. How can you help me?

Use a computer that has Internet connection to download the drivers from the ACER WEB site then copy the drivers onto a flash drive. Connect this flash drive to your Acer and install the drivers on to your ACER.

Download the device drivers from the Acer WEB site. Makesure you select the model of your laptop the drivers you that require thatmatches the Windows version that is installed on your laptop. Use this link toget to the Acer support: -

I re formatted hardrive. reinstalled O/S. cannot connect to internet. device manager shows yellow question mark over ethernet controller, multimedia audio controller, video controller. has error message:...

What kind of computer do you have? The trick here is first to get the computer on the internet by finding out what kind of network card is installed on a internet connected computer do one of the following
1> If its a dell go to http://www.dell.com/support and click on download drivers enter your service tag number Download the network driver to a flash drive and install Connect to the internet and repeat the above process to install the other drivers.
Most manufacture websites will have a download page for the drivers but you can also google the make model and operating system drivers for example google acer aspire 1000 xp network driver.
if you post your make model and operating system I can help you better.

Cannot connect to the internet

Well what we can do is that we can use any other system and download the driver from it and copy it on to a USB PEN DRIVE and then connect that USB PEN DRIVE onto your system and then install them and everything would be done...

Here's the link for the NETWORK DRIVERS..

NETWORK DRIVERS

1st OPTION
(IF YOUR SYSTEM HAS 3Com 3C905C-TXM Ethernet Adaptor then use the link below)

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R49958&SystemID=PLX_PNT_CEL_GX60&servicetag=&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=2730&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=1&catid=-1&impid=-1&formatcnt=1&libid=5&fileid=58953

2nd OPTION

( IF YOUR SYSTEM Intel 10/100 LOM then use the link below)

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R56484&SystemID=PLX_PNT_CEL_GX60&servicetag=&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=2834&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=3&catid=-1&impid=-1&formatcnt=1&libid=5&fileid=67420

IF U R CONFUSED IN WHICH NETWORK DRIVER DO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THEN JUST CONTACT DELL TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND ASK THEM WHICH NETWORK DRIVER TO INSTALL, EVEN IF YOUR SYSTEM IS OUT OF WARRANTY THEY CANT DENY YOU TO TELL YOU ABOUT YOUR SYSTEM SPECIFICATION..

THERE IS ONE MORE WAY YOU CAN ENTER THE SERVICE TAG OF YOUR DELL SYSTEM IN THE LINK BELOW AND THEN VERIFY ABOUT ALL THE HARDWARE/SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION AND WHICH DRIVER TO INSTALL ON ANY OTHER SYSTEM

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen

kindly rate this solution if u think its helpful to u..

Can´t connect with some internet pages or part of them and then my pc crashhes

I would suggest downloading the full version of IE, uninstalling the one you have, and then doing a fresh reinstall afterwards. There may be some kind of conflict with something else on the computer that could be causing the freeze. A fresh install may take care of that for you, if Internet Explorer is the only thing freezing it up. Have you tried installing another browser like Mozilla Firefox to see if there's similar problems with a different browser? You can download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org.
