1) tight the connector wires very well and clean with spray contact, of course unplugged the machine
2)resolder all point from the board for colder joint
3) Try again.
4) If the problem persist the problem is the board defective.
5) Call some service tech.
God bless you

SOURCE: Wash cycle will not start

it is likely that you have a water leak causing the dishwasher to go into flood mode. to find this out tip the dishwasher sideways and see if water seeps out of the base if it does it will need to be sourced.

SOURCE: blinking lights, not washing

Usually blinking lights are indicating bad touch panel buttons. Remove kick plate, (black panel under door) and find service instructions there. It will tell you how to test button panel, as well as any codes flashing. Also will tell you hot to try a reset.

SOURCE: I have a kitchenaid KUDS01FLss2

Hi.

The appliance is in lock mode.

Try first disconnecting power by tripping circuit breaker or disconnecting power cord for two minutes.

After that the appliance may still be locked, at that point you will need to reset the dishwasher control module.

The control module is reset by pressing a key combination of keys.

Combination is:

  1. HI-Temp Wash
  2. Heated Dr
  3. Hi-Temp Wash
  4. Heated Dry
  5. Hi-Temp Wash
  6. Heated Dry
This model does not have heated dry, and the combination uses Energy Saver button instead:

  1. HI-Temp Wash
  2. Energy Saver Dry
  3. Hi-Temp Wash
  4. Energy Saver Dry
  5. Hi-Temp Wash
  6. Energy Saver Dry
Press the button in rapid sequence without big pauses, or it will not work (it is often called button dance).

Regards.

Ginko.

Clean light keeps blinking and I cannot get dishwasher to start cleaning dishes. It seems to be hung up.

If it blinks 7 times, then pauses, then 7 times....over & over, then the computer control has failed to see an increase in water temperature during the last cycle. That means the heater could be out, the temperature sensor is out, the heater drive circuit is bad, there is not enough water or the water is not circulating properly. The newer models have different blink sequences that mean other things. On most models you can press hi temp wash>heated dry>hi temp wash>heated dry in quick succession to enter a service mode. All the lights will come on, then after the control clicks a few times, just press cancel & the control will be reset & you can run another cycle. If it does the same thing again at the end of the next cycle, it will need repairs.

The control board has detected an error. Press any button to wake the machine then wait for 5 seconds. Press and hold the START/PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously then the failure code will appear in the display as an "E" followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters as long as the buttons are held. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. Post back the code for further advice.

Kenmore Elite won't start

First of all, make sure haven't inadvertently locked your control panel. Press and hold the DRAIN/SPIN button for 3 seconds to see if it clears. How long did you unplug the washer for? The manufacturer recommends unplugging the washer for at least 30 minutes to reset the computer. Try this first and let me know what you have. It could be you only have a minor glitch.

If these preliminary checks prove unsuccessful, you may have a control panel problem. Do you have any error codes deisplayed? Please reply and let me know what you have.
