To pair the Jabra with a Verizon Wireless phone, the phone must have Bluetooth. Bluetooth allows a device to communicate and transfer data with another Bluetooth device without having to be physically connected to it. The instructions for connecting the Jabra with the Verizon phone vary slightly depending upon your phone model. Jabra headset instructions don't vary per model.

Some Bluetooth headsets will take a while, but if you have had it plugged in for a decent amount of time and still are getting no reaction, you may have received a defective unit. According to the Jabra website, you must notify the company from which you purchased the unit to receive a refund/replacement if this is the case.
