Hi.without going into minute detail most defrost timers r behind bottom plinth or inside refrigerator control panel cover if it is a mechanical timer,otherwise PCB.GOOD LUCK.

Generally, if you unplug the refrigerator and set the freezer and refrigerator temperature controls to off then plug it back it, this will put the refrigerator in forced defrost mode. Keep the doors closed and allow defrosting to last for about 20 minutes. Then unplug again and reset the temperature controls to mid-range or a little above, and plug it back in. If this does not reset the defrost cycle, you probably need service.

theres no defrost timer in these,its controlled by the main board located in the rear of the unit,run the diagnostics before replacing the board because a new board is over $100.00
This leak , is coming from the defrost drain , inside the freezer section , at the back . The defrost drain is clogged with ice . Remove the bottom freezer crisper , and use a hairdryer to defrost the ice . You will see a drain hole where the defrost water is supposed to drain thru . Hot water helps defrost this hole . Once defrosted , use a small hose inserted into the drain hole , to blow thru , to remove built up debris , inside the unseen drain line .
