To connect your camera to your computer what you will need here is a USB cable , for that if your camera don't came with one USB cable you can check from any computer or electronic store for a generic USB cable that can be use to connect the camera to your computer.
So take your camera with you when you go to a store so they can provide you the correct USB cable for it.
I presume your question is a typo. Cameras do not connect to cameras, they usually connect to computers to download the photos. The camera shouold have a download cable with a normal USB plug on one end that connects to the computer and a very small plug at the other end that connects into a matching socket somewhere on gthe camera. If you have the camera socket but no cable then either go buy a cable from any computer or camera shop, or you can remove the camera storage card and insert into a computer card reader. It will then act as a new drive and the computer will give it a drive letter. The same will apply if you use a connecting cable between camera and computer. Either way when the computer recognises the camera card, it will give it a drive letter and you can then download your pictures to any folder on your computer. However, almost all digital cameras have download software on the driver disc and if that is the case with your camera then go get the connecting cable - take the camera with you to the shop if you're not sure of the cable type
hi kbailey. Turn on the camera and go to the menu. find the reset function. Reset the camera. This means you are returning it to all of the settings it was at when it was brand new out of the box. Joe
Thanks for choosing Fixya!
In order for you to connect this camera to your computer you need to have a USB cable that will be connecting the camera and computer for the file transfer. You can get a USB cable from any computer store.
The USB cable is probibly uour problem it is maybe broken in the inside so if this is your problem try buying a new USB cable so goodluck:) and please rate my solution...
Check the cable first. It's easy - put another one. If it works - change the cable.
If Not - check the PC input by connecting another similar camera. If it works with another camera, then Your IEEE camera port is broken and needs to be repaired.
And the order of connection must be:
1. Power off camera.
2. Put IEEE cable on it.
3. Plug another connector of cable on computer.
4. Power on the camera. DON´T TRY TO CONNECT A CAMERA IN A PLAY MODE, it probably can destroy Your camera IEEE port.
Sincerely.
This colud be 1. a cable fault 2. camera3. memory card fault.
The only weay to discover which is by experimentation with the help of friends . Connect the camera to another computer. Try another cable. Try a card reader if available.
Yes, the CB-USB4 cable that comes packaged with the camera is required to connect the camera to the computer. The stock number for a replacement cable is 200 776
