Did you have a password that is easy to guess? Someone may have changed your password on you. You will need administrative programming rights to the voice mail system to reset your password. Is there someone in the office that handles this or do you have a company make changes and additions to your system?

To be able to use voice mail with my cellular

A U.S. Cellular®, they understand that your Voice Mail is about more than just sending and retrieving messages. It is about staying connected to what is important at all times - even when you or the people you are calling are not available. Setup And Retrieval You must set up your mailbox the first time you use your U.S. Cellular Voice Mail. Please ensure you are using your wireless device for the initial set up.
  1. Access your mailbox by dialing *86 or your 10-digit wireless phone number + SEND
  2. Follow these prompts to set up your mailbox:
    1. Choose English or Spanish as your language preference
    2. Set up your 4-10 digit password
    3. Record your voice signature
    4. Record or select your greeting

How to leave a voicemial message

There are three elements to voice mail; having a Panasonic brand voice mail system, recording the greetings, and setting call forward conditions. Which ones have you done?

The default access to voice mail is extension 500 on the intercom, but we used to use 165. When you dial it, the lady says "welcome to the Panasonic voice processing system". If she doesn't or you're asked for a password, or you have not done the tutorial, then you need to do that and it guides you to the setup of the greetings, name, and password change. After that, you dial *710x 500 (or your VM access) # on the inercom to set call forward to voice mail, with 4 being no answer (my preference since it gives me the option of answering the 2nd call or letting it fall to voice mail), or 5 for Busy/No Answer.

The message manager (mailbox 998) and the system owner (mailbox 999) has the ability to access and change how the voice mail system performs. The owner can change your name for the directory or reset your password and/or
setup or delete your mailbox.

Trying to retreive messages and now it's saying invalid number. used to I would just dial 115, then promted to put in 115# and would get message. Now just says invalid number. How do I fix this. ...

115 is the port the voice mail is on. The prompt is "enter password then #". The password is your voice mail password from the extension you're calling from. If you are trying to get your messages from another phone, press #6 * and your extension. It will then ask you for your password to your voice mail.

There are FOUR system manuals and TWO manuals for the TVA or TVS voice mail system. None of them say 7731 on the face of them, so post back with you KSU and Voice mail models.

I do not know the Voice mail password to retrieve messages. The User guide says to use *86. This keeps giving me the same message to enter the password. Please help.

Call your cellphone provider and ask them to reset your voicemail password. Once you know the password, you can program your phone to dial it automatically by adding it to the contacts entry for Voicemail. Or you can go through the options to disable the password requirement.

How do I change Voice Mail on my phone?

Dial your extension. Wait for the greeting to say that you are at your voice mailbox. This is also the "Quick Voice Mail Tutorial Set Up."
Follow the instructions provided in the tutorial. You will be asked to enter your name (or company name), password and greeting. Write down the password and keep it in a safe place.
Record other greetings, if needed. After the tutorial, you have an option to add different messages for different situations. Press "311" to change your general greeting. Use "312" to record a message for when the line is busy. Dial "315" to record a temporary greeting for when you are away for an extended period of time, such as vacation. Good Luck
