COMPLETE BLACK PAGE

We get a complete black page.!! Fist we thought it was the toner and changed 3 diferent cartridges, but still the same thing. We have no clue where to start....I suspect it has to do with no good conection or something like that. No electricity is going through, BUT we realy do not know. HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP US WITH THIS.

Not sure but I think this model has a separate drum unit try replacing the drum unit if this still doesn't work then the laser unit has a fault also you could try vacuuming out the inside of the machine as maybe caused by loose toner on the contacts.

Ghosting appears often because of bad toner. If cartridges have been refilled, they have wrong toner in them. If drum has worn out it will usually tell you. All parts for this machine cost too much. If toner is not the problem, probably best to get a new machine rather than pay to get it fixed. Brothers are cheaper to run.

Print a cleaning page During the printing process, paper, toner, and dust particles can accumulate inside the printer and can cause print quality issues such as toner specks or spatter, smears, streaks, lines or repeating marks. Follow these steps to clean the printer's paper path.
  1. Load copier-grade paper (not bond, heavy, or rough paper).
  2. On the printer's control panel, touch the Menu button.
  3. Touch Configure Device .
  4. Touch Print Quality .
  5. Touch Process Cleaning Page .
A Cleaning message appears on the printer control panel display while the cleaning is taking place. The cleaning process takes a few minutes to complete. Do not turn the printer off until the cleaning process has finished. A page will be printed when the task is complete. Discard the page. You might need to repeat the cleaning process to thoroughly clean the printer. Print a few more pages to see if the problem is resolved.

Samsung printer printing grey

The exit mirror of the laser-scanner unit is dirty. There is a gap above the toner cartrigdge, where the laser beam is comming from. Try to clean with dry soft lint-free cloth.

It prints a complete black page, without any images or text. Even at the test page!!!. Any idea as to what can be done?

I think the ribbon or printer head need to be change since it prints a complete black page, if it is a blank page it prints, i would have said the toner ink is low in the cartridge or finished but since it is a black page it needs replacement.

I suggest you get a technician to help fix it.

I changed the black toner cartidge for the first time and immediately got a multicolored stripe all the way across from top to bottom on the middle of the right side of the page. I replaced the toner

Vertical streaks or bands appear on the page.

One or more print cartridges might be low or defective. If you are using non-HP print cartridges, no messages appear on the device control panel or in the HP Toolbox. Replace any low print cartridges
Marks repeatedly appear at even intervals on the unprinted side of the page.

Internal parts might have toner on them. The problem typically corrects itself after a few more pages. The paper path might need cleaning. Clean the device. The fuser might be damaged or dirty. Clean using instructions in HP Toolbox.

Changed black cartridge. Machine works fine, but

To align the cartridge from the control panel:

Please follow the steps given below:

1. Please Load a plain paper.
2. Press and hold the "Scan" button for three seconds.
3. An alignment page prints.
4. Place the alignment page onto the scanner glass.
5. Press the "Scan" button.
6. Once scanning is complete, the cartridge has been aligned for optimal print quality. Alignment must be complete before continuing with any print jobs.

try another toner cartridge - - particularily if it is a remanufactured unit you are currently using.

Dell 3110 toner cartridges spray toner all over the page

The toner cartridges are not being completely locked in the printer and/or are misseated. When locking the cartridges, ensure the arrow is completely moved to the closed lock icon on the right side of the cartridge.
