If your flash bulb is burnt out, so replace it by a new. also replace the four flexible connecting wires. But be very careful of high voltage may damage the whole camera.

SOURCE: Nikon Coolpix 2100/3100/3200 battery compartment door latch broken (again)

I just purchased a new battery door for $15 with shipping from nikon. They sent a simple assembly diagram and I was able to replace the door in 30 minutes. I used a dremel to cut the old door off, but you dont have to do that. I got a little impatient.

Just buy the plastic piece and u can reuse the metal parts for your old battery door.

SOURCE: CAN I USE THE NIKON

Sorry, no. the L110 is designed to store images and videos to memory, not to stream live video to another device.

SOURCE: Nikon Coolpix L110. Less than

Are you using good quality batteries? Cheap supermarket batteries (usually zinc carbon) tend to be weaker than quality alkaline batteries. Look for alkaline batteries with the code "mn1500" somewhere on either the battery or the packet. Also, rechargeable batteries can vary between brand in that some hold less charge for less time than others. So look for the code "2000" or "2500" on the pack if you want to use rechargeables. Many cameras use only 2 AA batteries and it takes a lot of power just to start them (charging the flash and extending the lens etc.) and need a good battery for them to work.
If this doesn't solve the problem (I think it should) then you may want to return the camera and have it replaced under warranty.
Hope this helps.

You will need to know how a flash works. Basically there is a circuit that increases the voltage to insane levels - 2000-5000 volts, store it in a huge capacitor storage, and discharges it over an inert xenon gas tube.

a knock may damage delicate parts, especially the storage and the gas tube.

Have you tried other shops? How about sending directly to Nikon USA? or their fleet of authorised repair shops?

The pop up flash stopped working on my Nikon Coolpix L110 camera. Camera still works, but without the flash, the pictures are less than desirable. What can I do to correct this problem?

Check your settings first. If this still doesn't work then you'll have to take/send your camera to an authorized Nikon service center.

You have a white balance issue. Somewhere in the menu system is a command to alter the white balance - for indoor shooting by artificial light (i.e. light bulbs) it should be set to 'tungsten'. Using flash would overcome this, but the pictures would look very harsh and unnatural.
