There are a few things that could cause your problem.
First, cheaper cables could cause interference and distortion. Second, you could be using too long a cable run. Third, check your keystone correction. This is particularly important when running higher resolutions. You may have to actually move your projector and reset your keystone correction to fix the issue. I had a similar problem with mine. No issues after I repostioned my screen on the wall and reset keystone, etc. This was while using comp. cable. Now I'm having an issue with my DVI-D...go figure.

I too would like to know the solution to this question...we are having the identical problem and Sony doesn't seem to know how to fix it. Although, the picture from the DVD player is perfect, the pictures for cable & video games are terrible. Very frustrating!
Please go to Setup menu and select Initialize option to reset camera to default settings that might solve blurry picture problem, if that does not help then its technician job to adjust focus of camera. Thanks.
I have the exact same problem. When I was in NY last fall, suddenly my camera would only take blurry pictures. I hadn't changed any settings or anything. I can get halfway decent pictures in Auto mode, but any of the other settings only take blurry pictures. Apparently a lot of people have this problem, but no one knows how to solve it...
I'M SORRY I CAN'T GIVE YOU AN EXACT ANSWER, BUT I DID A LOT OF CHECKING AND THIS SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THIS CAMERA? I HAVE READ MANY REVIEWS THAT HAVE SAID THE SAME THING, THAT THE LCD AND THE PICTURES ARE BLURRY OR THEY HAVE " NOISE" WHEN DOWNLOADED TO A COMPUTER. ALSO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE LCD IN THE BRIGHT LIGHT, POOR FLASH PICTURES AND ON AND ON. IF THIS CAMERA IS FAIRLY NEW, I WOULD RECOMMEND RETURNING IT TO WHERE YOU BOUGHT IT. THIS CAERA JUST DOESN'T HAVE A VERY GOOD RAP AS FAR AS PICTURE QUALITY. LOTS OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT FLASH SPOTS ON INDOOR PICS. IT JUST DOESN'T SEEM LIKE YOU ARE DOING ANYTHING WRONG, IT'S JUST THE CAMERA. SORRY, BUT IF YOU CN RETURN IT THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL TO YOU. IF YOU NEED MORE HELP REPLY TO ARCLIGHT1217. IF THIS WAS HELPFUL, PLEASE RATE, THANKS!
You probably have a focus problem. Possibly the focus control has opened.
If so, then you would have to have the Flyback (High Voltage transformer) replaced. The control is integrated into the flyback.
Depending on the labor chages and parts prices would determine if you want make that kind of investment.
Other problem can also cause this effect such as a bad picture tube, open resistor, bad picture tube socket, etc.
