Thermostat as stopped working - Zanussi ZI918 / 12K Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

• The temperature sensor might be faulty. The temperature sensor is responsible for detecting the temperature of the oil in the Actifry. If the sensor is faulty, it might not be able to detect the correct temperature, and the Actifry might stop working as a safety precaution.
• The thermostat might be faulty. The thermostat is responsible for regulating the temperature of the oil in the Actifry. If the thermostat is faulty, it might not be able to keep the oil at the correct temperature, and the Actifry might stop working as a safety precaution.
• The oil might be too low. The Actifry needs a certain amount of oil to function properly. If the oil is too low, the Actifry might stop working as a safety precaution.

When the compressor is working making cold and not stops it is Thermostat failure.The thermostat stops the motor when it reaches some temperature.

verify that the thermostat is completing the circuit on a call for cooling, check the contactor at the condensing unit, verify the low voltage, the wiring may be crossed somewhere.

Disconnect the wire and open up the thermostat if its not heating up the water or not automatically stops after heating. Replace your Electric Kettle Thermostat with a new one. Because most of the problem occurs when your thermostat does not work properly. And about a 10 percent chance is your heating Element is getting wrong.

So I opened up mine as it had stopped working and saw that there are two thermostat switches on the underneath. When the temperature heats up, the thermostat switches are supposed to open up. but at room temperature they should be close which means if you put a check for continuity across the terminals it should be a short ckt. The 05 NGT thermostat was fine. the 03 NGT 54N thermostat is definitely blown. I am trying to see if I can get a replacement part from NGT Controls. Not much circuitry in there but two thermostat switches. Hope this helps.

try to adjust or lessen you thermostat setting or maybe your compressor continues working conduct observation after adjusting your thermostat if compressor not stop working even water is chilled replace thermostat.

you may need to replace the thermostat or the thermostat batteries if applicable. To replace the thermostat follow the instructions on the new thermostat. Make sure to set the thermostat to the gas setting(see instructions) this should cure your problem. Good Luck on the repairs

When you said it stopped working, do you mean it is not working at all? or is it not cold enough? If not working at all, that will be thermostat, when you change the thermostat, did you adjust the small switches to match you unit and make sure wires are connected properly, If not, it would work properly. If not cold enough, check and make sure the condenser fan motor and compressor are running, if both are running but not cooling then you have sealed system problem.

well you have set the thermostat wheel to the minimum temperature due to that your fridge will work till some extent after that it will automatically off so set the thermostat wheel to the high level
