Try to open the cover and clean the video head with a clean piece of paper dampened with a little alcohol. place the paper on the head using your finger and slowly moved the drum. donot move the paper up or down just move the drum slowly. the symptom also indicate that the head had reach its peak point and need to be replace with a new one. good luck!

Where do I go for service?

If the videos that show poorly were stored near a source of magnetism that may cause problems. If some work perfectly it is probably not the recorder. Try a test with anew cassette-record and playback, Unsure how to get faulty ones repaired if possible.

I'm filming a Skateboard Film and I can't upload any footage. My camera is a Panasonic Palmcorder L452 can someone help me?

If your camera uses a cassette tape it will not upload video to a computer,if it also takes still pictures these can be transfered because they are digital.

Camera won't record/ play footage.

Video head was dirty / clogged due to old tapes usage so it did not recorded any signal on tape and now it requires cleaning with good quality head cleaning tape to record and playback properly.

Whiteout in viewfinder, LCD and playback when filming outdoors

You should check and see if your night shot is on. That would definitely make the screen go completely whit outside but work fine inside. Hope that helps.

Video footage will not play on computer.

I used http://www.free-codecs.com/ to download a codec pack, specifically the 'XP codec pack' located at: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/XP_Codec_Pack.htm it solved the problem.
