SOURCE: I just bought the eclipse

There are two things that come to mind, the new battery is not holding a charge, or there is a problem with MP3 players circuitry. Remove the battery for 60 seconds and re-seat it back in place hopefully this will reset the processor ic, if this fails take it back because there is nothing more that can be done since the item is under warranty.

SOURCE: I have 2 Eclipse CLD MP3 players and I cannot get

you just need to hit the "VOL" button once, which will light up the # of the volume setting (18 is factory set). then you toggle the left or right arrows to either decrease or increase the volume # to the desired setting. i think the highest is 32.

SOURCE: I have downloaded music into

You have to follow both steps on the instruction manual. When you first plug it into your computer it prompts you to name it. Then sync the music files off of Windows Media player..then you must do the second part where it explains about copying and pasting the music to it..this link opens the pdf manual that explains it just like the directions that came with it.

I think people are getting confused and thinking that step is only suppose to be used if they can't sync it ..but you actually have to do that part too or the files won't go onto the MP3 player.

SOURCE: No matter what I do my MP3 player Eclipse CLD

Even the above solution did not work for me, but once I got rid of ALL folders, even the highest level, and dropped the tracks directly into the root directory of the player (alongside the free tracks that come pre-loaded) it worked fine. This means if you are using WMP to load songs, you will have to manually undo the nested folder hierarchy WMP creates.

When you connect your player to the computer and you copied the music files from your computer to your player. You can also select the music files on your player by right clicking on the music file and then click on Delete.

I bought a Eclipse CLD MP3 Player, the music does not sound the same as downloaded. You can only hear the background vocals, not the lead singer. How do you fix this or is the MP3 ****?
