Keyboard Delay I've had this phone for about 6 months and not had any problems until the last week or so. When I use any of the funcitons (Contacts,, Menu, etc) there is about a 5 second delay before the screen changes to the action I've selected. This occurs when using any keys other than the arrows and numeral keys. Phone has not been dropped or damaged in any way. Any suggestions?

Mine went dead after about 3 weeks. Once I realized there was a charging port which is not IPhone, but droid type. Began charging. Would not recognize until I went to blue tooth setting and said forget device. Then turn bluetooth on and then hold bluetooth key down on for 3 seconds or so on keyboard. Then it worked. I guess dont let it run till it dies.

There is something definitely wrong with your keyboard. My batteries last 4-6 months or more.Even with real cheap junk batteries and a lot of use the batteries would last a month or more.
The first and about only thing you can check for and fix is a stuck key. If the key is stuck down the keyboard uses far more power (about 20x) as it is transmitting. That is about the only thing I can think of that will drain the battery that fast. The problem is it sounds like is actually working normally when its working. The disconnecting is going to be either internal or the antenna placement. With it connecting and disconnecting it would use more power but not that much.
I would check for stuck keys, but after that I'm afraid a replacement keyboard. There just isn't that much to fix inside or out of these things so you have very few options on what to do. If you have warranty get it exchanged asap.
Check the inside of the battery chamber to see if there is corosion on the spring or front pip for the + ve.Batteries leak ands should be chaged every 6 months regardless
Not sure if this is what you are talking about but worth a try.

3. Then set up the keys by selecting the Key to be changed.
