Model glgt1031fs1 how do you change the washer belt

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you want to know how to change the washer belt on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# GLGT1031FS1. Typically, this is not a do it yourself repair, as there are no step by step instruction manuals. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They have been trained on your appliance and should be able to change the washer belt with ease. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Washer stalling between cycles

The motor may be overheating, and shutting off. See if you can touch the motor when it stalls again. If so, check the tub when the unit is empty, it should spin freely, no noise.
If the motor is not hot, carefully touch other components with the power unplugged to see if anything is hot.
If you can find the motor heat sensor, check it out for power in-power out when the unit stalls. These little devices can fail.

Frigidaire LTF530FS0 front loader loud, screeching noise

Hi - Try to rotate the drum when it is not in use, manually and see if you notice the sound as well. If you do the drum is not balanced and you would need a professional technician to diagnose the bearing and pulley system behind the drum for repairs.

How do I take the front cover off a Maytag MAV4755AWW washer to change the belt for spinning the drum?

Although I'm not familiar with that particular model, most Maytag washers have the belts under the washer (no need to remove the front panel) --- just tip the washer back and check to see if the belts are underneath.
