Your best bet would be to contact Philips who makes this or Google the model number with "manual" to try to locate one.

Since you know electronics that will make the explanation simpler;
On your tv model there is a very common problem that you may want to look at;
There is a small board on the right hand side(backlight inverter board),
Look for a shorted D309 , it is a 9.1volts 1watt zener diode.
As i said it is a common problem for your model.
But there is also the power supply;
All lcd tv`s nowadays it seems end up with bad capacitors in the power supply,
You can recognize them by their rounded tops and you`ll find them at the output of the power supply along the 5/12 and 24volts line.
But especially on the 5 volts line.
If your not sure which ones then replace them all (there might be 6 or 7 of them) it won`t hurt and eventually they will go anyway.

It may have power supply problem (bad caps, cold solder joints, etc.) and that will be the first palce to look.
Please read my guide so you will undet stand how TV works.
Capacitor kits: http://lcdalternatives.auctivacommerce.com/ he can make you a set of caps for you.
Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.
