Question about Samsung Digimax S500 Digital Camera

Camera says "memory full," but there's no pictures...

Just like the title says, I turn on my camera (Samsung Digimax 301) and it works fine- except when I try to take a picture- then it says MEMORY FULL. One problem, there are no pictures anywhere in the camera. I've tried everything I can think of short of breaking the camera... suggestions please?

I had this problem, I don't know how it happened. I have the samsung digimax s500, this is what I did. 1 press menu 2 go to 'setup' 3 scroll down to 'format' 4 click right and scroll down to 'yes' that fixed mine, good luck

I need a memory card for my samsung digimax301 camera

The Digimax 301 uses SD cards. They should be available at just about any electronics or office-supply store. Make sure you get an SD card 2GB and smaller, and not an SDHC card 4GB and larger.

I have been using Samsung Digimax 301 Digital Camera since 2004 when I purchased it. Suddenly now I find that my beautiful camera began showing 'full memory' after only three pictures were captured....

Sounds like your camera has switched over to storing pictures on the internal memory which is very small. With the card out of the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, using a separate card reader, download any pics from the memory card. Then, insert the card back into the camera and do the "format" thing again to erase and initialize the card. Everything should be back to normal. By the way, your camera can't get a virus.

I own a samsungDigimax 301, 3.2 mpi camera. When I inserted an SD card in the slot, the screen read " card error". Could you guide me as to dealing with this problem so that I may use the camera to take pictures this weekend? Thanks. Mathew.

Check your settings on your camera to see where you are saving your pictures. Try removing the memory card, then viewing your pictures on your camera.

Card locked

Most SD Memory cards have a little switch on the side to lock them, try switching that to the other position.

Samsung digimax 130 camera memory error

If memory card is full, just try to delete one picture and try to take a picture and check if it will be saved in the memory card.

There is a Delete All option.

Or if you want to, you may format the memory card and the pictures will be deleted.
