Question about JBL PB12 Subwoofer

1 Answer

No sound what so ever

Ok, I have had my jbl pb12 for about 6 years now. This year after, it started turning on and off very quickly. It would be on during a loud sound then immediately go to standby after the sound was done. Then about three days ago it started making some very quick clicking noises (think like a mini jackhammer). This was with my receiver off. It made the noisesfor about 15 seconds. Then about 30 seconds later came a very loud POP. Shook the house and scared the piss out of the cat and my fiancee. It did that two more times and now it just wont come out of standby mode at all. It think it might have finally died.

JBL PSW D112 Distorted Sound

SYLVAN.

THE FILTERS /FILTRES ON YOUR SPEAKERS ARE TORN OR DAMAGED. IF YOU STILL HAVE WARRENTY ON THEY FROM JBL YOU CAN RETURN THEM FOR NEW ONES, PROVIDING THAT IS COVERED. IF NOT. I PERSONALLY RECOMMEND YOU BUY YOU SOME NEW ONES. REPAIRING WOULD BE OK, BUT IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN VERY QUICKLY.

Thank you. Let me know what your decissions are
