To reset the Belkin back to the defaultsettings -
Press and hold the pinhole RESET button at the back of the router and thenpower for at least 15 secs. Then release the RESET button.
Connect a LAN cable from Belkin to your laptop/computer's LAN port, open abrowser on your laptop/computer and enter the Belkin's configuration URL. http://192.168.2.1
The default PW = blank (just press Enter)You can now change the default admin password.
You can now configure the wireless settings. However Belkin C45 is not a wireless router :)

Change my belkin router password want a diffrent password

Connect to the router via a cable.
Open CMD (command) prompt and type:
iconfig
you will see a default gateway listed - write the ip address down.
Open internet explorer and enter the gateway address into the address bar.
Should open a web page to configure the router.
You may have to provide a password.

If you're only interested in wireless password change, select different pages until you get to the wireless stuff.

I'm trying to connect to WiFi on belkin.Ofe.guests and it goes to a page that says belkin access password. I dont have a router. Is there anyway I can get a password?

You are attempting to connect to a PROTECTED WIFI network. You must know (or be given) the password for that network in order to be granted access. If you do not know the password (or who to get it from), chances are you don't have any business connecting to that particular network.

What makes you think we have your password? That said, Reset your Belkin to the default settings, by pushing and holding the reset button for 30 seconds or so, this will reset to default settings. You have to reconfigure the SSID and Security code. I keep getting the following message pop up on my laptop: Belkin Router Management belkin.499b's password has been changed. Click to enter the new password. This message flashes on and off every 2 seconds....

Uninstall the belkin router monitor from the control panel ...
it will not happen again

And by uninstalling this ... nothing wrong will happen to the router or the computer

the old owner of your router know the wpa code he/she inputed you must ask him wat is the wpa code since you are now the new owner you shold chnage also the old wpa code to new one....

Change of current belkin N150 password.

admin usually gets u into the router for access WITHOUT a password. Set a new password or resetup your network with the disk that comes with your router.

I woul like to make my belkin router a secure

try this link.. shows how to secure your router. If you have already done this and have forgotten the password, you would have to reset the router to get it back to factory defaults.

Belkin setup

Normally, connect pc with router, and modem off. Turn on the desktop and then turn on the modem and router. letting the modem and router assign ip addresses to all connected devices.
