I have this extremely annoying problem with my monitor. A small box - centered on the screen - pops up nearly all the time. It is semi-transparent and simply says "0 [degrees]" degrees = the symbol for angle. It is certainly something integral to the monitor and I do not believe it is associated with a driver or anythign like that. Can anyone provide advice on how to disable this very annoying feature? I have been extremely disappointed with this Samsung monitor, I DO NOT recommend it for anyone else. Ken
Ken, Unplugging the monitor for 48+ hours to disapate all electronics within the monitor may work. otherwise its probably a heat problem. When the monitor heats up something stops doing its job. Tim

I dont think these solutions will help for the issue. I came to know from my vendor that this is the problem related to Micro Controller inside the monitor. So i am gonna replace my DELL monitor with TFT Dell.
Anyhow some Geek must find what made to cause this issue.
Thanks Guys !

This is not the problem, it does this from the minute that the monitor is turned off, even after weeks of being turned off. It is due to small vibrations, not heat.
