Transcend T.sonic 610 MP3 Player 2 GB

Hi I bought a T.Sonic 610 (2GB) about a month ago. It just powers off when I power on - starts with T.Sonic Family Initialising and powers off. Please let me know how to fix this problem. -Hema, India

    my trancend mp3 player switches off as soon as i switch it on.

    same thingh for me usb device not recognized ...it starts with t-sonic family and freeze not working pc pc detects the player as malfunction problem

sir, for switching on the device u need to hold the play button for a couple of seconds.if ir is switching off after some time, then it means the power is not sufficient. you need to charge it well.

Transcend t sonic 610 2 gb player is not getting format
when you purchased the t sonic mp3 player 610 box pack at that time or in that box one CD is there. put that CD in CD ROM and install recovery. then in recovery or where the recovery is install go there and select firmware update, when we update the firmware virsion at that time the data will be loss.during the update don't disconnect the drive.

Power swtich off in transcend t.sonic 610 mp3 player
Install the firmware update that comes with the player. The solution is as simple as that. I had the same problem - the player was switchin off on its own. I installed the firmware update and it works like a charm. :)

Please check whether your set has been locked.

if yes then slide the lock button towards upward. then starts it will work.

otherwise please charge the set fully and switch on.

this will work.

Not powering ON..getting switched off Transcend T.sonic 610 MP3 PLayer
Do NOT format it -- I did a complete format as another user suggested and now it only appears to be useful as a pen drive. It will not play anything and I've tried reinstalling the firmware and it doesn't even recognize that it's an mp3 player so I can't install it!
