Need to install hp deskjet 3845 printer

Here is the main support page for the DeskJet 3845.

DeskJet 3845 Support

For Drivers, click on Software & Driver Downloads. You will then have to select an Operating system. When you do, a list of available drivers will appear.

Click on the file to download. I suggest that you select Save when the download window comes up. Then direct it to save the file to your Desktop.

After the download is complete, insert a flash drive or writable CD if you have a burner. You can then right-click on the file on the desktop and select Send To > and choose where you want to copy it to.

You can then take it to the other computer and install it from the flash drive or CD. (It may not Autostart. You will probably have to click Start>Run and browse for the Setup file to begin installation.)

On Vista the drivers are built in. It does not need setup from disk or download.
