I too had the same problem and after reading the solution checked and the hose was detached. Your solution worked but I have to say it was a challange getting the hose back on. Thanks!

Refilled all 4 ink cartridges, now none will print due to extreme horizontal banding after numerous head and nozzle cleanings. Is the remaining duabrite ink gelling up with the refill ink? If so, what's the solution???

I have a Epson Stylus 640 and it will not print anything. It was cleaned, blown down with air, and the ink was replaced. Is it reading? What might be wrong?

The black ink is not showing up on the Nozzle Check.
I have replaced all cartridges, cleaned the Head many times, and tried the Head alignment but no luck with the black ink.

Same issue. Can see that tube is detached and see lots of ink all over the place. My problem is getting down there to reconnect the tubes. How on earth did you do it?

I had the same problem with mine, first it was just the black and then nothing would print. I just happened upon this site and it was a HUGE help I copied and pasted a protion of it here. I did this and sure enough mine had come off. Now I can print again. The problem I am looking to fix now is that the quality of my printing in "Draft or Text" is not up to standard.

The CX6600 is known for.................

Attention: If are having problems with sudden lack of inkflow after replacing one or more cartridges when using the Epson C and especially the CX all-in-one printers, we have been made aware of a design issue on these printers which may cause this problem.

Some of these Epson printers have a design flaw which causes the ink purge tube under the cleaning station to come apart during cartridge replacement. If this occurs, the printer is no longer transferring the vacuum from the purge pump to the printhead. In other words, no ink will be moved through the printhead onto the paper.

You need to look under the cleaning station and determine if the pump/vacuum tube has come off, and if so, reinstall it. Click here for pictures to identify this problem and help you resolve it.

NEVER leave your Epson printer without an installed cartridge, even an empty one, for more than half an hour. The ink will begin to gel in the built-in print head to the consistency of honey! It will require multiple head cleaning routines to clear (if it does).

I can sympathize with your problem. I spoke to an "honest" sales rep at a leading electronics store and he suggested to clean the nozzles with a high concentration of rubbing alcohol, something on the order of 90%. Don't know if this will help but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Good luck!

How to reset epson stylus cx6600 cartege chip

there is a tool to reset the print counter on epson ink cartridge chips, but this tool can only be obtained when you are an authorised service provider for epson. and even then it is not advised to use it, since resetting these chips can cause damage to your printer's system board, the replacement of which costs almost as much as the price for a new printer of the same model.

Unclogging my printer it does not print

do this with a little bit of care, put your mouth on the little hole on the side of the cartridge while covering the other one the on the same side and ~blow~ some strong air in just enough to get the ink out of the nozzles.

if that does not work, next time save money and get you a refill kit like this from ( I don`t work for them)

My cx6600 has new ink cartridges and acts like it is printing but the pages come out blank!

Try taking a new cartridge out and shaking it ( with your finger over the hole that the ink comes out) and then put it back in.  Also make sure that the tape that is over some cartridges' printing area has been removed.

Check the ink levels...and try to print a different color picture.try to clean the cartridge contacts and try to print..

Not printing

Epson requires that you replace empty cartridges with their branded replacements.
Otherwise your printer wont function.
