My sound works fine but everything is in Black and White. One day is was fine and the next time I used it everything was black and white. I have only had it for about 1.5 yrs. Any suggestions. Thanks.

TV is working fine. Connected the JVC system and the dvd's are playing in black and white but excellent picture quality and sound. I have changed the VPF settings as far as is possible, there is no colour option available. Does anyone know if there are any actual colour settings that can be changed? We have tried new connections, new scarts etc. and nothing seems to help it. Would really appreciate any help. Thanks Carla.

If you hold the VFP button while a movie is on, you will get a small box on the corner that shows your color. My default color also turned black and white. I just moved over to a user1 color setting (push the right arrow on your remote), and it allows to the change the colors. You might be able to put the colors to come out through here. Hope this helps.

Yes you should go to VFP button but not only move into user 1 or 2 but playing enter such you put on 0: gamma, brightness, contrast, saturation, tint and sharpness, then you adjust at your preference!!!! It worked for me after 3 hour try to fix it, beginning with the below advice.

I had this problem when I first got the JVC TH-505 and the picture was black and white. It turned out that I had the cables hooked up improperly.

Why my color catdrige is empty faster than black

just change your settings to print in only black and white and it will print just fine. there should be a button on the top of your printer that says print black and white or grey scale , its a common problem .,if you see next time it should work good .(its actually making the black color using the colored catridge by mixing the three colors in diffent ratio.)

Tv went to black and white

It may be a wire has come loose. Check your video inputs. Especially if you have animals or small children. On certain video inputs you lose color if one wire comes loose.

Only view in black and white on my ilo DVD R04

I was having the same problem. My DVDR04 was working fine. And after about four months of not using it I desired to use it. Turned it on and everything was in black in white. After searching on line and e-mailing Ilo which I never got an answer. I finally tried using an RCA video (Yellow) cable on the line out video jacks, replacing the line out S-Video jack/cable and it worked fine back in color right away.

Negative screen image

Look in System Preferences for Universal Access, there is a Display option which says Black on White(the normal setting) and White on Black (the setting that has been enabled).

There is a keyboard short cut to change the setting, it involves pressing four keys - Apple, Option, ^ and 8.

I have had this problem all you do it wobble the screen back and forth until you find the right spot. if that doesnt work. unplug it from the charger assuming it is plugged in. If THAT doesnt work, believe me a little "thwap" on the back will.

62' Mitsubishi WD-62525 little black and white squares instead of picture but I have sound

Mitsubishi list this problem and has a solution of replacing several small surface mounted caps and diodes. we have tried this repair 5 times and only successfully done it once. so replacing what is called the formatter board part # 930B924002 for around $ 350.00 usually repairs this type of failure, However changing this board is a time consuming thing and takes a lot of Patience. It is buried deep in the set and several other board have to be removed just to get to it
