You can set your print job to print with no color. When you go to print, there should be an options / settings tab. click that and set it to print black and white.

Brother dcp9040 cn . you had advised me before. replaced toner cartridges. continue to say load cyan toner. had reordered a new cyan toner and replaced it. removed drum . it still contiue to say load cyan...

Try reseting the toner cartridge via the operations panel.

Do this by opening front door and pressing clear/back button, a menu will appear, we want to select C-TNR-S or C-TNR-H depending on if you are using Cyan/TonerStandard or Cyan/Toner/High Capacity, so use arrows to go to correct one then press ok to select it, then a new menu appears, we want to select 1 and ok to reset, then it should just go back to cover open.

That should do it, have you tried it? as I think I told you the same before, I also need to know if you are using original brother branded toners or refill/remanufactured ones. You can reach me via this question

I cant get the toner cartridges in my canon c ir 2050 to go back into the copier

Hi,
Try these steps.
  • Pull out of the front cover of the Canon 2200 so that it flips down and exposes the inside of the machine.
  • Remove any toner cartridge already in the machine by pressing down on the blue lever located near the bottom right of the inside of the machine. Then grasp the toner box right above the handle and slide it out until it stops.
  • Hold the new toner cartridge in both hands and shake it from side to side a few times to loosen up the toner.
  • Orient the toner cartridge so that the flat surface is facing downward and the small handle at the end of the surface is pointing toward you.
  • Place the toner cartridge on top of the toner box. Push it back in as far as it will go and then press down on the cartridge until you feel it click into place.
  • Pull back on the small handle on the top of the cartridge. A thin separator sheet between the cartridge and the toner box will come out. Continue to pull until you see a stop sign on the separator sheet.
  • Tap on the toner cartridge to cause the toner to vacate the cartridge and fall into the toner box. After you have tapped it a few times, push the cartridge handle back in. When the handle goes all the way back in, you will feel the cartridge unlock from the toner box.
  • Remove the empty toner cartridge and push the toner box back into the machine. Pull up on the blue lever once the box is all the way in. Close the front cover to the Canon 2200.
Hope this helps.

Shows an AP error. what does this mean?

Your copier is adding toner.Since they cant make a "T" with a 7 segment display, they used a "P" for powder. If it does not go away, replace the toner cartridge and wait a few minutes. Good Luck!

Blue streak printing on page

Chances are you have a bad toner. The lines a spaced about the same width as the diameter of the drum on your blue toner. Shack the toner and try again. The toner may also be spilling toner into your printer.

How do you change the toner?

On the 2550 you have a door on top of the machine with a blue button next ot it. When you push the blue button, the door will open and you will see one of the toner cartridges. If that is not the one you want, close the door and follow the instructions on the panel. To remove toner, rotate back on the top of the toner and lift out.

Come on copier tec you should know better, need to know which light is showing orange, Drum, toner, paper, status?

Intuition tells me that you have a orange toner light and a red status showing, and you are using a non OEM toner, but thats guessing.
