The Griffin iTrip is a device that is compatible with Apple's iPod and its main function is to allow a user to listen to their iPod in their car. The device sends data through radio signals and it assigns a radio station you want to tune.
Update your iPhone if your Griffin iTrip is not working. This has been known to fix fourth generation iPhones. Plug your iPhone into your computer and launch iTunes. Under the "Devices" tab, click the "Update" button to update your iPhone firmware. Try using the Griffin iTrip again.Perform a soft reset on your Griffin iTrip if it is not powering on. Sometimes the iPhone has problems communicating with third-party devices and can lock up or freeze the third-party device. To perform a soft reset, plug the iTrip into your iPhone and make sure the iPhone is powered on. Hold down the "Menu" and "Select" buttons on your iPhone until the Apple logo appears. Try using your iTrip again after this reset.Make sure that the iTrip is completely flush with your iPhone when it is connected to the iPhone. If your iTrip is set to a station that is close to a major broadcasting station, you may be getting interference. To change the station frequency, navigate to the iTrip playlist on your iPhone.
Im not a techy, but i know enough bout music to know what 2 do. If your car stereo has a AUX imput 3.5mm jack, (headphone-like-cord) you need to connect your Vibe to the cord and the cord to the AUX imput. then make sure that ur car stereo is set to AUX. when it does, the vibe most likely will be on pause or wat ever setting you left it on prior to connecting it. Now all u need to do is.....Selec the song or playlist, and press PLAY.
you should be able to delete them from the play screen! I have the 8GB version phillips gogear vibe! thats how i delete songs! Play the song you want deleted, the hit settings, and scroll down to delete! Good luck
Your GoGear is freezing because there is an error in the operating system and can be fixed by resetting the device. Resetting the GoGear is similar to rebooting your computer. You will not lose any of the data uploaded to the device. To reset the GoGear, press the "Reset" button located on the left of the device. The screen will go blank for a few seconds and then turn back on.
If the GoGear freezes after uploading a file to the device or if one song or sound file freezes the device each time you play it, the file is likely corrupt and needs to be removed from the GoGear. Connect the GoGear to a computer and delete the file from the device.
Probably, but don't buy this stereo! It has a lifespan of about 6 months. I am not the only person to have had the same series of events happen with my VR-3 stereo. The same breakdowns I had, were mentioned by other customers on www.vr-3.com. The usb, and SD slots will breakdown. I have played my MP3 player throught the Auxiliary port, (which would be the way you play youe ipod) but the sound quality is not great. It requires that you turn the mp3 unit up to full, and increase the volume on the car stereo significantly, and still not great sound. I am actually planning to contact Target where I purchased mine, and reccomend they drop the product.
