Question about Mitsubishi VS-50607 50" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

Color Fluctuation The color periodically fluctuates from color to black and white (going through a variety of colors) then comes back to color and works perfectly. This happens every 15 minutes or so. It is if there is interference in the signal, but the other set connected to the satellite does not have this problem

You could have either some bad solder connections or capacitors going bad in the chroma or voltage regulator circuits. As long as the picture is great when it's working, it should be worthwhile repairing.

I don't know how to buy film for this camera. is it just 35mm 400 film

Yes, you can get 35mm in color negative or black and white. Although the black and white film may be in 2 varieties: traditional process black and white(not all labs can process this) and C-41 process black and white (and one hour lab can process this). If you are looking for color film choose the C-41 color negative film like Kodak gold 400 or Fujicolor 400.

We have recently bought a second hand OKI C5200 Colour Laser Printer and even though the black and white print seems to be great the clour is coming out with coloured streaks, what would you recommend?

One or more of the drums may be defective. Swap the black with another color and print a document. If that color printed the charectors ok, then continue the test with the other drums each taking a turn in the Black drum position until you find the bad drum.
