DVD to mini DV tranfer

Only way is Play burned DVD in dvd player and provide Audio- Video out (yellow-red-white) to mini DV camera that has AV Line Input recording facility. Or find any Mini DV recorder and record tape.
In that way you can record video again on Mini DV tape.

Sony Handycam DCR-TRV18E

Hi there,

Firstly you need the remote control that came with your camera (RMT-814).

Switch on your camera to VCR mode. Then on the remote, press the Data Code button (and of course, point the remote towards your camera). This should display the date and time in the bottom left of the screen.

It should display the appropriate date and time for each bit of recorded video.

Hope this helps!

Check the camera's menu, it may be set improperly. Beyond that, I'd get in touch with Sony (see their website first).
