Need help on setting the date and time when you record it into dvd.
Hi.
I just got my sony handycam DCR-HC32/HC42. i recoreded a lot of stuff but when i convert it into dvd,the date doesn't show up when i view the dvd i just recorded. I did set the time and date in the camcorder. What did i do wrong or what should i do so i can set the date and time onto the dvd.(means when you view the dvd, a date and time shows up on the screen.)Thankyou.

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
Only way is Play burned DVD in dvd player and provide Audio- Video out (yellow-red-white) to mini DV camera that has AV Line Input recording facility. Or find any Mini DV recorder and record tape. In that way you can record video again on Mini DV tape.
Firstly you need the remote control that came with your camera (RMT-814).
Switch on your camera to VCR mode. Then on the remote, press the Data Code button (and of course, point the remote towards your camera). This should display the date and time in the bottom left of the screen.
It should display the appropriate date and time for each bit of recorded video.
the flexwire of the lcd monitor of your camera is already cut.....it have to repair or replace now cause that wire is very small and only skilled technician can repaired it...lot of our customer it is the common problem of there camera that why in our shop we modified that and became more durable than the original wire....
