Hi i have a LG RU52SZ30 it is about 2 years old it was given to me but anyways the people who gave it to me said that they were told something about a light bulb that needed to be changed but they couldn't give me exact diagnosis...Please if anybody could help me with this problem let me know.
Blue lcd is burnt up.. Normally happens due to excess heat from poor ventilation or not changing the lamp at the required time.. Allways happens on the blue as blue light is the hottest wave length, and as the lamp burns, it shifts to that side. Nothing you can do but replace the lcd itself. From the image shown, looks like the unit uses sony lcds.. Sonys are well known for there burns.. No quick fix on this one.
I have the same problem, replaced the bulb, no help. They are saying it has something to do with the circuit board, the light bulb emits only white light, has nothing to do with the color we are seeing, trying to find the answer myself.
