Either you dropped an Ipod or a PDA RX3115, but in both cases the device has water damage.

It requires to open it and check it to evaluate if it can be completely cleaned.

When the devices are wet and there is enough battery current, there is corrosion due to chemical reaction with copper, so sometimes the damage cannot be avoided, causing that the main board is completely damaged.

It requires some tools and experience to do it. If you are familiar with fixing electronics, you can try it. Otherwise, I do recommend you to get a technician in checking your device.

Best regards,

I dropped my in the toilet and it was working fine until about 20 minutes later the screen just went completly white. What do I do?

Hi Lizzy,
There is probably some water still in your ipod causing your problem.
Firstly, switch your ipod off. This can help prevent any more damage being caused.
Then, leave your ipod in a warm dry place, an airing cupboard or near a radiator (not on top!) for 6-8 hours.
After 6-8 hours try turning your ipod on to see if it is working again.
If it still isn't working turn your ipod off again.
Fill a small bowl with rice and submerge your ipod completely in it over night. It sounds a bit strange, but the rice draws out any of the remaining moisture in the ipod.
In the morning take the ipod out and get the rice out of anywhere it may have got stuck and try again.

IPod touch Digital Media Player: my grandson dropped by Ipod touch in the toilet! t...

Well the screen can be fixed by sending it to apple or one of many other repair shops. The water is the hard part. Your best bet is to fill a zip lock bag with dry rice and put your ipod inside and leave it for a week and maybe the rice will pull the moisture out. Water is a killer but once it dries out, you might be lucky. In the end it may cost more to repair than its worth.

Dropped ipod touch in water

don't try and turn it on until your 100% sure that its dry and i mean DRY, put it in a bowl of uncooked rice for a day or so the rice will help absorb the moisture and hopefully save your ipod

My 4 GB Nano was washed and dried, And will not turn on at all.

Well, you need to take the face cover off and make sure all the internal wires are still connected. If they are make sure they are dry and let it air out with the cover off. If it still doesnt work, then you have a broken ipod and you will have to send it to the factory and they will fix it for a small cost

LG Dare dropped in Pool

Just put it in a bag of rice for couple of weeks. The rice pulls all the water or wetness out of the phone. How do I know, Well I found a brand New Lg Dare phone in a puddle, put it in rice for 2 1/2 months. I took it out of the bag, put it together, turn it on. To my amazement it worked. Ran to store, bought a charger, and it has worked every day since.

I dropped my i-pod in the pool

hi,

unfortunately your ipod cannot be fixed with our help because you did function it when still wet on the inside electric circuit and had a short-circuit obviously,

after falling in the pool the right move was to switch it of immediately and leave it drain for many days in order to be sure that it is completely dry before you function it,

you could still get it replaced if it is still on your guaranted period by telling to your salesman that it suddenly stopped working

im sorry,
hope i helped!
