One month before I lock my hdd with master passw in the bios of my laptop Fujitsu Siemens E7010 and use it with user pasw. Now i forget the master passw and reset the bios of laptop. I know the user passw and try to unlock the hdd with it but without success. I try also atapwd. Any idea? I bought a new identical hdd (change only on the firmware serial number) and try to replace the boards. The bios does not recognize it. Any idea. What I can do? Maybe the serial number of the firmware? I need my documents.....Thanks in advance for response
Forgot windows password, you can reinstall Windows or reset the old password with windows password reset tool. I do not recommend you to reinstall Windows, which can lead a data loss. You can downloaded Windows Password Reset 9.0 and burned it to a CD/DVD or USB memory card. Then to remove the password. http://www.reset-windows-password.com
Maksiza, I had a customer who would had their harddrive locked. It was a DELL machine, using a travelstar drive, we called DELL verified they were the owners and they gave the master hard drive password to the hard drive and it worked beautifully.
