If you are turning it on with the button, that is why. To turn on the H700, you should just need to open the boom mic. Once open, it should connect with your phone. The H700 is designed to dial the last number when the button is pressed. No way around this one.

On most cell phones, to redial the last phone number dialed, press the green phone icon when the keypad is displayed on the screen. You can only redial the last number dialed. When putting the phone in the clip sometimes it will redial the last number called. I don't see any buttons on the outside that would redial. I know the right button on the right top brings back the last...

The right button on the right top that brings back the last dialled number may be the culprit. Check to see if a long press on this button redials the last number. If so, then the clip is pressing it too long. Can you avoid using the clip or modify the clip so as not to press this button.

Problem with maintaining paring with Palm Pre and Moto H560

I fixed the problem, at least partially by disabling and reenabling bluetooth on the Palm Pre. The headset now automatically picks up the audio from phone calls. If you go out of range of the phone however the problem starts all over again. Recycling the power on the headset does not fix the problem.

H700 won't play music thru bluetooth

Pushing in the button (I don't know what you mean by "the middle button" when there is only one button on the H700) it starts the voice dial feature. It will listen for a second and then tell you with a beep that it did not recognize the name. That is your cue to try again. When it does not recognize it again in a couple of seconds ti shut off. The H700 was not designed to use to listen to music on your phone with. If you want to do that you need to purchase something like the Motorokr Blue Tooth unit.

Owners Manuals are missing after the office remodel

Redial is used by pressing the redial button to access the stored numbers, each press brings up another number. To dial the number you want hit the # key. i.e. to dial a number you called 3 phone call ago you press 'redial', then 'redial', then 'redial' followed by '#'.
