TURN ON SWITCH SEEMS HARD TO PUSH ON SHREDDER

Try cleaning out the paper and debris out of the shreader and empty the waste container. Get some cooking oil and oil the blades in a right to left application format. turn it on to circulate the lubrication and turn it off and repete until all blades are coated. Then unplug it from the wall press and hold the power button for sixty seconds and then plug it back in. Test it to see if that solves your issue.

I just plugged it in and it turns on/off by itself.the craig logo pops up for a second then goes away and this repetes

Mine does the same. It's not turning off though, it's just blacked out. The only way to fix this is by leaving it on whilst blacked out and about 10-20 minutes later if you turn it on and back on the picture should show up. Mine's been doing it for some time so it takes longer. :(

It can be the main logic board EPROM is scrambled since the TV was plugged during the thunder storm, and /or the power supply module are damaged.

Reddy pro155 runs for 3 to 5 seconds

Reply with the correct model number. "Pro 155" designates a series. We need to know whether you have a heater with a spark plug or a heater with an ignitor (glowbar).

Multifunction restarts repetedly

That is usually a bad main board. You can try removing the memory and reinstalling it...that fixes the problem sometimes. Also unplug your network cable and turn it on...data present when turning on some xerox models will cause problems.

Main Board is part number 140N63141

Panasonic TH-42PX80U won't turn on.

You are missing 15volts. If this is a new TV, it could be as simple as a plug not fully seated on the power supply. Regardless, the repair should be covered by warranty and Panasonic is one of the best when it comes to taking care of the customer. Ifd nI can be of further assistance, let me know
