From Kradinsky: "Turn the printer on while holding down both the ink and paper buttons. When the paper light flashes release both buttons", then hold down the ink button for approx. half a minute until the printer lights flash again then release it. That resets the printer.”

Samsung ML-1915 red light flashing

Your toner chip page counter has to be reached on last point (run out). Normally one OEM toner cartridge chip can print 2.5k pages, after that cartridge has been locked (although it's remain toner) and red light will be blinking. So, you can't able to take print furthermore in this state. You need to change cartridge chip or you can contact me by my mobile: +91 9330033560 or write a mail to my email id: <[email protected]> I have a solution for changing printer firmware which will make you printer permanent solution for taking print out without changing chip.

Ink red light on . which colour is out?

When red ink light flashes - one or more ink cartridges is low. When you print, a message on your screen will tell you which one(s).

When red ink light remains on - one or more ink cartridges is empty. When you try to print, a message on your screen will tell you which one(s).

Furthermore: When following the procedure for installing a new cartridge, if the red ink light was on or flashing, pressing the ink button will cause the carriage to stop with the cartridge that needs replacing under the "ink out mark" (ink droplet with a slash through it).

Epson c48 printer

Normal 0 Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

Epson C66 red light stays on for ink

The first time you install ink cartridges, the printer must charge its print head for about 90 seconds. Wait until charging finishes (the green power.jpg power light stops flashing) before you turn off the printer, or

it may charge improperly and use excess ink the next time you turn it on. If the printer stops moving or making noise, but the green power.jpg power light is still flashing after 5 minutes, turn off the printer. If the light is still flashing when you turn it back on, contact Epson.
Turn off the printer, then make sure the ink cartridges are inserted completely and the ink cartridge cover is closed completely. Also make sure no packing material remains in the printer. Wait a moment, then turn the printer back on to clear the error.

Samsung Printer CLP300

Have you run the Dr. Printer utility that comes with the printer? If not, run that and see what it says. You can download it from the CLP-300 support page at samsung.com.

Printer has red lights permanently on when powered up

if they were initially flashing fast there is a fatal error and a repair is needed, but always try a re install first. Go to printers and faxes folder and go to your Epson C88 printer icon, right click on it and select cancel all documents or prints, then select uninstall, to remove the printer. Uninstall driver from add/remove programmes, turn off and remove printer from usb port and restart pc. Install the drivers and software again from the cdrom and when prompted to connect printer, switch it on but connect to a different usb port if possible and allow windows to detect and install. If the lights are still steady red or flashing fast, then the printer is faulty.
