No license to play/sync license from PC - Zen Creative V Plus

Hello!

I have a subscription to Napster to Go, and back in December I filled my 2 GB Zen Creative V Plus with 306 songs. It worked fine for 30 days, but on January 14th, I kept getting the "No license to play/sync license from PC". I have gone back online to Napster to go several times, but I can never get this resynced. My subscription is current, and my question is 2 parts: How do I go about doing this, and can I get these permenantly downloaded to my player without having to go thru the resyncing process every single time? I don't own a computer, so I would really be interested in knowing how I can do this.

Try putting the songs on your PC if they are not there already. Delete all the songs from your Zen, then reload them.

SOURCE: No license to play/sync license from PC - Zen Creative V Plus

Unfortunately with Napster and Rhpasody (and a few others) you will have to resync every 30 days. The license should renew itself if you connect your player and resync, but i would check with napster's tech support b/c you might have to enable auto-sync temporarily until all of the licenses are updated. Alternatively, you can right click all 306 songs, click on "license" or "digital rights" and click "acquire license" - but that could be a real, time-consuming pain.

If you convert those songs to Mp3 format with an Mp3 converter,, you will never have that problem again.

Start up Window Media player on your computer. Plug your Zen device into the computer. Wait until you see it listing in WMP. Unplug the Zen and see if you can play the songs.
The licenses on the device should be updated by WMP when you plug in the device

Wont play songs says i need sync license from pc

It depends on what program you use. If you use Napster, just connect the device and when the pop-up menu opens, click "Sync my music with Napster." I'm not quite sure what you do if you use other music downloading programs.

Creative zen music will not play on memory card

I also use Napster. Unfortunately with the music being on the memory card and not on the device itself, Napster detects this and will not play music from the memory card.

There are two things you can do to resolve this, the first one won't cost you anything. Move non-Napster music files to the memory card, leaving only Napster music on the device itself. As a Napster-To-Go device, you'll be able to play and sync without issues. The second is to purchase the tracks from Napster that you want on the memory card. Once you do this, you can play them in any compatible media - not just the Zen device.

NO LICENSE SYNC PLAYLIST TO PC???

Go into your Control Panel and Add and Remove Programs. Make sure Show Updates is checked on top of the Window. Scroll down to the bottom and remove Hotfix for Windows Media Format 11 SDK (KB929399). Restart then resync your music to your player. Unfortunately, Windows continues to reinstall this "fix."
if that doesn't work try this
I reformatted the player, deleted and then re-downloaded the subscription tracks.
