Will not print pdf files

When I try to print a pdf file - even ones that have printed many times in the past - it prints one line then shoots out 4 blank pages and is done. I have restarted both computer and printer 2x and tried old pdf as well as new one.

I'm not able to print from my "Family Tree 2014" edition the format that I can make use of. In the older version it all makes sense and looks good in the printout. How do I resolve that issue?

If you haven't done this at this time, take a screen shot of the page(s) you see. Shoot as much of the page as you can and then page down and screen shoot that portion of the what you see. You will eventually have the total page(s) you seek. You can cut and paste them together or you can put them together using PhotoShop or a similar program. Second idea: You might try first to make a copy of the file. Them open the copy and see if you can save that copied file as a PDF file. If you can, you should be able to print out that PDF file.

How to convert project primevera file to pdf. My PC not connected into any printer. So i need to take project primevera file in usb to print . Is it possible to save in pdf format.

Yes, this is absolutely possible.
You need a small piece of software called CutePDF. Its free and hardly takes any space on your pc/laptop.
Direct Download Link for CutePDF
Once downloaded, install the software and follow the steps below:
1. Open your project primavera file
2. try to print it
3. before printing, the time when u have to select your printer, select Cute PDF Writer as shown in the image below
4. Click on print

drgirish_0.jpg

5. The primavera project will be printed as a PDF file and you'll be asked where you want to save it :)
6. Choose your destination.
7. When the printing is completed, you can open the pdf file in Adobe PDF reader
* You don't need a printer to do this
* You can follow the same steps and print word/excel/powerpoint files to pdf (or any other file type that you can "print")
Hope this helped!

I have a Canon PIXMA MP780. It won't print except

If you can print the nozzle test then that proves most of the electronics, it could be the driver is screwed.
Since you can get something out that is intelligent e.g. the larger font lettering then it is processing the file sent to it.
By that I mean rasterising it, converting it to dots of ink, so it can print onto the page as the heads moves back and forth.
Why not try another computer and connect your printer to that one, or try a different file, or even send it a file you've printed successfully in the past before you started to have this problem.

Missing lines on PDF from a large TurboCad file

Will TurboCAD allow you to export to a .pdf instead of printing to a .pdf? Have you tried printing to a file (.prn) before turning the file to a .pdf? To print to a file, click Print Setup, there should be a box to check to Print To File. Make sure you check that box. Then you should be asked to pick a file format which should be .prn if you are using windows. After you create the .prn file, then open Acrobat and convert the .prn to a .pdf. I hope this helps you with your problem. Printing can be a pain with CAD programs.

Won's print pdf files

Trouble with the HP Laserjet printed output may be solved by using the following settings (or similarly named ones): "Use raster Graphics" (instead of "Use vector graphics"). This may fix the problem of "reversed" text (white on black background) not printing, as well as other problems. "Download TrueType Fonts as bitmap soft fonts" (select "bitmap" instead of "outline" or "graphics"). This may remove the overlapping of text on the printed document. "Graphics dithering" select "coarse" or "fine" (instead of "none"). This selection may improve the quality of images contained in the document. You can find all these settings in your printer properties. Go to File, Print, click Preferences, in Printing Preferences, click one by one all the top options, and change one of the top solutions, one at the time, checking your printing output. Always check if you have the latest version of Adobe Reader Program. If not download the latest version from Adobe, it's free. Is this the first time that you have the problem? or with the same printer (HP 4si), did you were able to print PDF files in the past?
