Tv will not come on at all

contact the shop and book complaint where you purchased TV.
If you have warranty then they wil not charge anything.
Since it's electronic goods it's better to call them.
otherwise you need to pay for repair.

Check the power cord to the television if you are unable to turn it on with the "Power" button on the front. Make sure the cord is connected properly to the television and to a working AC outlet. If a power outage has occurred, unplug the television for 30 minutes to allow it to reset and plug it back in.

If its ten years old and the fuse is not bad replace the set as parts are no longer available in most cases for it.

Download the user manual to your TV. Clik here to download it. See whether audio options to it are set right. If all are right, check its speaker. If speaker is OK, the audio output circuit section should be troubleshooted.

the four flash is a signal, it means either faulty power supply or deflection circuit trouble.

Replace Lamp.

usually when that symbol comes up it means your lamp is defective so I would replace the lamp because if you had the set for that long and not replaced the lamp chances are thats your problem and you may be able to get a user manual for your tv by going to this sight
