My machine starts up, but seems to try to pin up to full revs from standing. The drive belt squeeks initially as the motor starts to spin, but almost instantly the motor cuts out again and drum comes to a stop. Thats my lots, nothing more happens...any ideas???
Sounds like the problem could be in the tachometer. This is located on the shaft of the motor at the back and has wires going from it to the main wiring plug for the motor. The tachometer cannot be repaired and will have to be replaced.
