The cylinder drum of your camera is not running that why c31:40 is appearing...a poor connection of the drum to the main board connection..clean a adjust the contact of the socket...don't do this if you are not a technician ok...

Not accept the new tape clean tape drive

Your question is not very clear.

Is the drive not accepting a new tape or is it not accepting a new cleaning tape?

LTO Cleaning tapes have a life span of between 20 and 50 cleans and once they go above this they expire and do not work again. I suggest you try using a brand new cleaning tape to try the cleaning cycle again and then try your backup again with a brand new tape too. This should eliminate all your media from you list of problems.

If the Superloader continues to either reject tapes or the cleaning light / alert persists then i am afraid it will need to be sent for repair as it is likely the read write heads will need replacement / service.

Visit the link below and they should be able to help and offer a full warranty too.

Code: 31:23....please reinsert tape. everytime i switch it on.

dear

u need to rate me for that ..ok dude....

actually this error is related to s reel i.e, the supply reel of the camcorder and some time when we insert a new tape in camcorder it start giving the error because the amount of tension is more in new tapes as compared to the old ones (used one) . . try to use the old tape u would nt have any problem .

but with new tape u will have these kinds of problem some times , to solve this problem for new tape u need to take the camcorder to near by service center of sony .nd they will align the tape path of your camcorder .

UVW-1800 SONY VTR - s-reel error

Both these error codes indicate a problem with the supply reel motor.
The first code (02-058) indicates that the reel motor is drawing too much current, which could be caused by a bad motor, defective driver circuit, or even a bad tape. The second code (02-803) indicates tape slack, caused by the defective supply reel motor. FIRST thing to check would be a possible bad tape. Try different tapes and see if the problem persists. If it does, it may be time to find a technician.

Magnavox TV: Somehow the record button on the remote will not record VCR. It ejects the tape and does not record. Please help. Thank you.

Try Using a new VHS tape. If the new tape ejects when press recording, the recording switch inside your VCR could be defective.
Let me know if you require further assistance.

Same problem with Backup Exec 10d and Superloader 3 LTO-3.
This is not my first problem with this Superloader. I think it is garbage and will likely be in the garbage very soon. Very expensive garbage unfortunately.

Cannot film

Dear carooooo, You are dealing with tape not film. Your problem might be in your tape.   Try running your tape on record the full length. Keep your lens cap on. Color balance and use new tape that's for your Sony.         jameskeyboar.

DV tapes will not load

the "dv sensor"is actually a mechanical lever built into the cassette housing that moves the reel tables to match the reel spacing on mini or full-size DV tapes. check to see if this assembly is free to move. if it binds up, the reel tables may not move as far as they need to, and can cause problems similar to the one you're seeing. to inspect the mechanism, you need to remove the cassette housing. if you don't have a service manual, get a tech to help -- it's a delicate procedure.

Code 32:11 will not eject tape sony tvr67

The mechanism got stuck. Open the cassette compartment screws and apply external DC to the Power input and eject the tape. If this is not possible refer to a skilled technician. If you need the service manuals and mechanism for replacement write to us.

I need help, Please!!!!!

the only thing I can suggest is look at the tape( open the tape door). Is there a line or crease on the tape?? yes ?? not a thing can be done unless you wanna send the tape out to a studio and have them ride the tape path untill the tape plays through., if it dosent look creased then Sorry to say that the tape path post are probably loose in the tape path section of the camcorder. Have it looked at before it gets worse. Hope its the first thing I said. Good luck
