My Home Theatre System suddenly started behaving crazy. It used to play all types of discs but now it only plays CD's abd VCD's but not DVD's. I tried all options to make it work but it always comes back saying 'NO DISC' whatever I do. I have powered off the unit completely and waited for a while to make it work but did not help. I tried to rset to factory default settngs but did not help. Anybody has the same problem please help. Can I assume that my unit is gone for toss?? Thanks,
I'm having the same problem and discovered the the Disc does not turn. I think the drive mechanism is bad. Anyone know where I can get a new DVD player for this unit.

Try getting a can of spray air and spraying into the dvd player. The DVD eye or reader may be covered in dust or dirt. If that doesn't work try taking it apart and cleaning the eye with an alcohol dipped q-tip. Hope that helps.
