You'll probably need a service manual for this one. You will have to check to see if the microprocessor is changing the voltage levels to the video IC as the problem could be with the CPU as long as the screen voltages are not out of whack at the CRT's or that they are bad.

The TCON board or the LCD panel is faulty. Can confirm by replacing the TCON board.

Measuring spoon wheel adjuster

you need to have it properly aligned, the tracking is different on every vehicle there is an amount of play in the adjustments but if it will not go into the recommend rang on the alignment then there is a problem, before taking to have this done make sure the tracking nuts and bars are easily moveable, undo them and move back and forth as if they find it hard to move they charge you more, if they can undo the nuts and move the bars around easy they cannot charge you for the extra charge. also make sure you have new tyres fitted as work or uneven ware can affect the camber to the road and wear the tyres down quicker and cause other problems later on.

How do I take chain off and tighten and then put back on.

The chain is not removed to tighten it.

Somewhere around where the bar (the "plate" the chain runs on) is attached to the body of the saw, there is a knob or screw which moves the bar back and forth.

Moving the bar back and forth control the tension on the chain.

Moving the bar away from the saw body tightens the chain, moving it in loosens it.

Contrast setting is too low, and the button is broken. Help!

Adjust the contrast permanently in full, if the control button in the front is broken you must adjust it inside. The brilliance has to controls in front and at the back inside ( the lower one) (the upper one is sharpness control) you can make there your desired adjustment.

Casio g-shock 2900

Hi there

There is no contrast adjustment...

Batteries low can affect the contrast. Try replacing the batt first. Is it all black? If so, the LCD is damaged.

Picture adjustment questions

*The brightness control setting determines how bright your picture will be. *The contrast control sets the gain of the video circuit. This determines the difference between dark and light scenes. Low contrast settings make the picture "hazy". High contrast settings make the picture more distinction between dark and light scenes. *The sharpness control determine the frequency response of the video circiut. High sharpness settings give better resolution but also shows more noise in your picture. Lower sharpness settings smoothe out the picture removing noise but also fine detail. It needs to be set for the best all around picture. *Picture Enhancement is pre-set adjustments which give you different picture qualities. You just select the one you like. Stargazer
