There should be a tiny reset button or pinhole (use a straightened out paper clip). If reset button/hole itself does not work, try pressing it while holding down the power button at same time. Otherwise, it sounds like you have a battery/charging issue (try another charger cord if available).
Try taking the battery out, plug the computer in, and see if it turns on. Press the "Power" button for at least 20 seconds (and press hard). If that doesn't work, put the battery back in, and do the same thing. I assume no lights appear like its charging (as you said). If this is the case, then you might have a dead charger (wire broke inside, power surge broke the adapter, etc). You may want to try a different charger of the same model (either from your local Best Buy or from a friend). If it does look like its charging, then your laptop's power supply has died (or the motherboard has died). This is a much bigger hardware problem and should be under warranty (or time to buy a new laptop). All data should be recoverable, however.
Dose you p.c pick the device up.If so make sure you have desktop manger on there and reflash the software, this should then let you turn the handset on. If not then you may need a replacement.
Reset the player:
1. Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds.
2. Release the Power switch.
3. To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly.
