When I connect my Sandisk Cruzer Micro (1GB) to USB port, it is saying, "One of your USB drives malfunctioned".
I am using Windows XP OS. I tried to re-connect, still it is giving the same problem. Pls give me the solution for this ASAP.

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you should see a yellow question mark? right click to reinstall drivers if you can see your usb drive but its not working ports(com&lpt)right click update driver hope this helps
If it does not work on your laptop, what error-messages do you get?
Does some other USB device work in the USB port on the laptop?
Do you have more than one USB port on your laptop?
Do any USB devices work in any USB ports on your laptop?
go to my computer property then hardware then device manager then
uninstall usb drivers then right click any driver and clik on scan for
hardware then it install automatic usb drivers. then restart computer then connect sandisk to computer then cehck if still face problem try all usb port of computer. Aslo check your usb port of computer are working fine.

hi turn off your pc put the card into the usb then turn on your pc let the pc find the drives for it and load on if this dose not work try the same in another usb port ok
if it works you must format the 1 gig stick befor you use it

Could you give me information on the computer your using? I'd need the mother board manufacturer, the bios manufacturer, the bios revision number, The operating system your using, The revision number of your operating system, And is it only usb storage media that your having trouble with, or does your issues include usb imaging devices?
