You can reset the light. What you need to do it remove the handle assembly from body of tool. The contacts will unplug. Then plug the cord in and pull the trigger and sometimes the light will blink, while holding the trigger in the on position unplug the cord. reinstall the handle and the light should go out. Sometimes you have to pull the trigger while plugging cord in but this should work. and then while holding unplug cord.

Wiring schematics can be found by Hilti 1-800 number but they probally will not help you. The 905 is programed to shut down for service every 40 hours plus 10 warning. Then in my case I am stuck with a 200 dollar bill to send the tool from Winnipeg to Montreal for reprograming. Its a joke in my situation and its on me from Hilti, what a good name but what a scam.

Do not put it in hammer mode and try to unscrew the chuck! This will break the housing internally. To remove the chuck you will have to put a chisel in the chuck. Lock that chisel in a big vice. You will then have to put a pipe wrench on the chuck to unscrew it. It is regular threads but there will be loctite on it. Once that is off your will have a spring and two roller bearings to remove before you can slide the bell off. You will then have 8 5MM screws to remove. This will remove the chuck. You will then have a snap ring to remove. After that you can remove the whole cylinder assy. More then likely your connecting rod is broken.
