Samsung L200 i cant put my videos on my computer or my PS3

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER VIDEOS AND PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your videos and photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

maybe your camera had a problem on hardware.,try to pull the camera out if the display appeared.,the turn around of the gears malfunction,you can contacted the authorized service center for us to know if you need to replace the barrel assy part of the camera.,

are you trying to look at the pictures on the camera?

if so is the camera in usb mode
or cant you take out the memory card out the camera and put in the the ps3
or put the pictures on the computer and put the pictures in a usb memory stick then plug it in the ps3

you need to upgrade the video codec of your computer, you can download them online and install them in your PC

that should help you view the videos

also make sure that the program that you are using can play AVI format, since the camera saves videos in AVI format

I have found that with my videos I cannot open them on either of my computers (one running Vista and the other XP)... or I can open them but I cannot get the viedo and the sound at the same time, I get one or the other.... try downloading the VLC player at http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ this program allows you to open the file and you will get both the sound and the vidoe... Hope this helps!!

Possible solution:

I had/have the same problem using L200 and SDHC memory card, called Samsung. Can't view certain pictures on camera or computer, camera freezes when viewing those certain pictures, green light flashing.

Samsung support told me that I needed to copy my (good) pictures to a computer first because a memory format will erase everything. Then format (menu->settings->format->yes) my memory card. Tried this just now and took some new pictures, so far so good.

If you can only hear the sound, but not see the video while playing it on a PC - it's a codec problem. The file format from a Samsung camera is not supported by your video player.

You have to use a different video player. Try using Videolan player - you can download it from www.videolan.org. It's a free software and it's safe.

If you want to play the videos in your PS3 - you have to convert the files to a file supported by PS3.
