No sound! when i answered my phone today i couldnt hear any voice and then after an hour or so there was no way to hear any sound at all (ie alarms, keypad tones, ringtones, phone calls). Ive looked at profiles and everything but nothing!

Hi, i had the same problem, couldn't hear person on the other end but they could hear me tried all kinds of things to fix it but sadly no.,My v800 was still on warranty i was told it was unrepairable.

Try Master reset, if it doesn't work the probably yr speaker needs a replacement

Make sure that nothing has captured the audio from you phone such as a set of bluetooth headphones or bluetooth speakerphone.

You can cycle threw all the Alarm sounds buy pressing the "UP and DOWN" buttons simultaneously until you hear the "Alarm off" voice, also you will see the little "Bell display" above and between the hours and minutes go away.

As it clearly seems that the water has ruined your speakers. You will need to replace them ofcourse. You will have to conatct LG i guess.

hello,

to find out if the phone is on mute, try to connect a earpiece to the phone and see what happens.

if it continues, then you flash the phone with the appropriate software.

it will come back to order.

Your system has been programed by your alarm company for remote programing by their techical department. They can access your system to change codes, reset your system's time/date and do remote diagnostics. Most security system manufacturers allow this remote access by having the security system answer the telephone after so many rings, the security system then picks up and waits for a frequency tone from the security dealer's computer. Once this occurs the dealer can access your system. Your dealer may have to change the program settings if this is causing interference. A second possibility is do you have remote access to your system? Some systems have the ability for the home owner to remotely access their system from any outside telephone. This allows the customer to arm/disarm their system while away from home. This could be causing your problem.

How to set time on the southwestern bell answer machine FA982B
I went to the southwesten bell freedom phone site on the web. Found answering machines.  My old machine was not listed, so I found instructions for a later machine.
The method for setting time was similar.  I tried it and it worked fine.
Your high prices prompted me to be less lazy.

GE Digital Messaging System ~ Voice/Time/Day stamp
1a] press and hold down STOP/set button and wait for promps.....
ie. press NEXT to change Day stamp and then SET to pick.
ie. press NEXT to change Hour and SET to pick.
ie. press NEXT to change Minute and SET to pick.
1b] press NEXT to pick 1minute allowance recording for recieving messages coming in, or 2 minutes or 3 minutes or 4 minutes. This machine only has 1/2 hour of recording time, so maybe you can 'tell' -record- that and let incoming callers know they have only minutes and machine will automatically shut off and cut them off [hang-up] on them.
2] press and hold down Greeting button and follow promps to change the answering machine voice promps to your own voice. Machine will automatically PLAY BACK your voice, if you don't like what you hear, press and hold down Greeting button again and try again.

GO TO UR SIM OPTION > ROMING > NATIONAL > UPDATE UR SIM CARD > PHONE WILL BE RESTART > REMOVE UR BATTRY AND SIM CARD > AFTER 5 MIN. PUT UR SIM IN TO UR MOBILE AND SWITCH ON UR MOBILE. 2ND > GO TO SETTING > RESTORE COMPANY SETTING.

Hi, I have SE V 800. Am not receiving pic messages, so phoned Vodafone UK. They sent new settings over air but phone could not install, as message said "internet profiles full, delete unused profiles" Cannot delete any profiles as when I try I get message "unavailable as profile locked" This was my son's phone, on contract with Vodafone. I now have a Pay as you Talk sim in phone. Do you think this is the problem and have you any idea how I could delete the internet profiles in order to receive new configuration settings? Would be grateful for any advice as been on phone to Vodafone for hours over recent weeks. Thanking you in advance for your help Lesley
