No Signal I hit a button on the remote and now when I turn on my tv, it's shows a blue screen and says, "No signal" in the upper right hand corner. I don't know what button was hit by mistake. I've tried all the buttons on the remote and still no luck. How can I get my picture back?
When I turn on the TV it has a blue screen and says "No Signal" it comes on more than 10 minutes later. It has been getting worse, taking longer and longer to finally "tune in". The settings seem to be corect. When I turn on the TV it has a blue screen and says "No Signal" it comes on more than 10 minutes later. You will have changed the video/audio input, on your tv, it should be an input button on remote.
The signal will either be on AV1, AV2, AV3 Component or HDMI.

Select the input channel for your Fire TV - Turn on your TV and select the input channel for the HDMI port you used to connect your Fire TV. You should then see a loading screen with the Amazon Fire TV logo 4.
I tend to think of my TV and all of the other electronics as if they have personalities, and they want to do things their own way.
It sounds as if the tv is working and thinks that it needs to receive a signal, so the input device is probably not turned on.
If you're using one remote, and it's anything like mine, it can control the tv and the input separately or simultaneously. The button on the top left switches this, and the indicator in the top centre tells me which mode it is in.
There's a possibility that you can restore your intended function by using the top left button.
To which model television are you referring? It sounds like you either need to change the input method for the TV or just change to a different channel (2 or 4).
Just wondering if thesmiths860 found a solution to their issue w/ their Sony TV. My tv is doing the same thing i.e. snow, won't change channels and says "NO SIGNAL".
Does anyone have a solution? I don't have the original remote so I can't do a factory reset.
Press the AV button on the remote, it will alter the interface with your receicevr. It will automatically pick your receiver if it is sending signal properly. If this doesnt work try another tv on your signal box to see if you get the same problem. Bet its the AV button though. Best of luck dave.
damm i have the same issue except the left side of the screen is far darker than the right. It still works but is very noticable. If you get this resolved please reply back!
You should be watching your dvd's on an input and not on tv analog 3. Every time the tv "senses" a signal change in the audio that screen will pop up. Connect the DVD player to the tv by using either the red, white and yellow (composite) connections or using the green, blue, red, white and red (component). Once you are on an actual input that box will stop popping up.
You are on the tv's component input. If the button of the remote that says video won't show you the other sources on the tv do it by the buttons on the side or top of the tv that say source. Go to analog or digital depending on the broadcast you are receiving.
