Re:
This info is from the Maint. Manual for T6212/T6215/T6218.
Sensor is located below the upper left tractor item 99 below. Clean it and make sure the V is facing your holes in the paper. If that isn't the problem? see below how to meter sensors procedures...
Resynce the the sensors through the teck on optin s in the maint setup using the sensor calibration procedure in the tec access diag option for the tractor sensor option paper out
and paper motion user/maint calibration procedure

You will need to calibrate the paper and platen. To do that, you will need to enter technical access and disable disable four fault error by pressing LF and enter button simultaneously until tech access appear on control panel display, then press tof + enter to override four fault. Now you can clear the fault message.,then go to calibration procedures.
In the T6215 Maintenance Manual the fault message: Hammer Voltage has been replaced, in the T6218, with:
Hammer Voltage 1
There is a new fault message for the T6218. It is:
Hammer Voltage 2
Explanation: A high resistance coil fault has likely occurred in one or more of the hammer coils
Note: This fault message will have been preceded by printing slow-down attempts associated with On-The-Fly thermal monitoring of hammer bank temperature.
Corrective Action:
Check the hammer bank for defective hammer coils.
Confirm that hammer drive board is functioning properly.
there are two reason behind the problem . 1 .the problem may come from the logic board.
2.and the platen sensor. change the platen sensor. if not solved change the board.
